Welcome to my weekly post, Daybook Online Journal here at The Littlest Way. This is a post where I gather all the ordinary things that happen or are happening in my day to day. Things like what I’m reading or listening to…eating and cleaning and learning…These are the small moments that make up my blessed daily life; and I want to remember them. I would love to read your Daybook Online Journal, just leave it in the comments section below. You can use my prompts or make up your own to include items important to you; mine change depending on season and circumstance. This post may contain affiliate links to products I love and recommend.

Praying…
My children and a friend went to see War Room the other night. It really made me take a look at my prayer life and ask, “Am I giving my prayers my all?” The answer sadly was “No.”
Pondering…
Listening to…
The dryer, a couple of little boys playing, Majestic (Revisited), children tell me they are hungry.

Around the House…
We cleaned the house up before we left for our little weekend vacay so now it’s just catching up the laundry from the weekend…hahaha, “just.” Nine of us gone for the weekend without doing daily laundry equals about 13 loads…or so it seems.
In the Kitchen…
I have to grocery shop today. I did not last week in an effort to save money for our little trip and clear out the pantry, freezer and refrigerator. Once I lay Leo down for nap and rest and quiet has started, I will go through the new Trim Healthy Mama Cookbook and Build a Menu to make a meal plan and grocery list.
Our Domestic Church…
Michaelmas is tomorrow. We’re going to have Blackberry Cobbler to celebrate. I recently created some new Pinterest boards by month for living the Liturgy to help me stay better organized.
Captured…
My mother in love would make a cloth dolly for each of her children and then her grandchildren. As a matter of fact, while I was in labor, she sat quietly in the corner of my room sewing the hair on a dolly for one of her grandchildren. She died before Leo were born and hadn’t made one for Max yet. The last picture I have of her well, was sitting on my couch with her son and our children each holding their dolly. I have always been a little sad that my two boys not only didn’t know their grandma but don’t have a dolly from her; my husband has let them play with his though. This past week my Veronica made Leo a dolly like Grandma’s and this week she’ll make Maximilian one. (Chris’ doll is on the left and Leo’s on the right.)
