Welcome to my weekly Daybook post here at The Littlest Way. This is a post where I gather all the ordinary things that happen or are happening in my day to day. Things like what I’m reading or listening to…eating and cleaning and learning…These are the small moments that make up my blessed daily life, and I want to remember them. I would love to read your Daybook, just leave it in the comments section below. You can use my prompts or make up your own to include items important to you; mine change depending on season and circumstance.

Praying…
My prayers have been lack-luster. Just keepin’ it real.
Pondering…
Well, while traveling, Veronica and I pondered what people from different states were called. For example, people from Texas call themselves “Texans” and people from Oklahoma call themselves “Oklahomans” or less formally “Okies.” So we started going through the states…what do people from Idaho call themselves?
Listening to…
Right now Maximilian and Leo are singing “Georgie Porgie Puddin and Pie,” Luke is asking Bridget to get him a spoon of peanut butter because Chris saw a mouse in the garage and the girls are watching The Voice. Is it any wonder I’m behind in my 31 Days of Bible Verses About Patience, lol!

Bible Journaling…
I’ll admit it, I’ve been too busy to get out my supplies and get artsy in my Bible. That’s ok. I’ll get back to it, seasons come and go and right now I am incredibly busy!
Around the House…
I just bought some Lavender essential oil to diffuse (I love this simple and inexpensive diffuser). I wrote about how I choose to purchase my oils from Amazon. Again, this busy season, I don’t need to worry about yearly or monthly fees, a distributorship or placing orders for others.
In the Kitchen…
I have found it’s better for me to have lots of pre-made snacks sitting around; I’m less likely to eat something that is not very good for me. (I follow the Trim Healthy Mama way of eating to help keep my blood sugar stable) I need to make up some “Fat Bombs” so good for me and yummy with healthy coconut oil, Bust a Myth Banana Cake–I make these into cupcakes, Skinny Chocolate, Peanut Squares and Peanut candies–they taste like Payday candy bars!
Our Domestic Church…
This Saturday is the Feast of St. Teresa of Avila. If you’re looking for a go-getter of a saint, she’s your girl!
Saving Money…
Chris made the decision for Veronica and me to rent a car to take to Texas. I’ve never rented a car before. He figured, if something went wrong with one of our vehicles, we’d be out the repair and maybe hotel fees if they couldn’t fix it that day. With a rental car, they would just give us another and we’d be on our way. We rented a little Nissan and I averaged 40 miles per gallon! That’s double our best vehicle; that alone made it worth it!
Captured…
Veronica talked me into a kind of scary ride at the fair!

I wish we could have stayed longer! I’m thankful for this big internet bringing new friends into our lives.
