Welcome to my weekly Daybook post here at The Littlest Way. This is a post where I gather all the ordinary things that happen or are happening in my day to day. Things like what I’m reading or listening to…eating and cleaning and learning…These are the small moments that make up my blessed daily life and I want to remember them. I would love to read your Daybook, just leave it in the comments section below. You can use my prompts or make up your own to include items important to you; mine change depending on season and circumstance.
Thanking God for…

Praying…
I’m continuing to pray for all things around here. As much as I would like for things to hurry on up, I think it will take a while. Please pray I can be all things patient.
Pondering…
How strong our minds are and how much stronger our wills must be.
Listening to…
Right now the washer and dryer are doing their thing. Leo keeps popping in and out to tell me some big story. Anna has me hooked on “May We All” by Florida Georgia Line. I’m also loving “Dig Your Roots” and “Grow Old” from the same CD.
My large print Bible
Sirach Bible Study and Journal
Bible Journaling…
Some of you have said you couldn’t find the Travelers Notebook I’ve been using. Here’s the link to the Travelers Notebooks and here’s the link to the Illustrated Faith Gratitude Kit I’m using.
Around the House…
Still no shower in our bathroom, Chris had to buy a new hot water heater last week and install it, now the garage door broke…really?
In the Kitchen…
Did you get the emails I sent out about Ibotta? If you haven’t read them, please do. I’m not a spammer y’all. I only share what I know and love and I know and love Ibotta. In yesterday’s email I even mentioned my plan for 2017 to use Ibotta to help pay for our Christmas! Totally Do-able!
The Littlest Way
This weekend I sat down and worked on some business goals to coincide with my home goals. Both of these are calls to live my vocation and I need to be intentional about how I go about this.
Our Domestic Church…
Next Sunday is the Feast of St. Frances Cabrini or Mother Cabrini. She is the first American citizen to be canonized. A great way to celebrate her Feast Day is to prepare an Italian dinner. I added this section because I think too often we make celebrating the saints so dang difficult! Make some Lasagne and read about Mother Cabrini and you’re good to go!
Saving Money…
I sent this out in the newsletter Sunday, “I scrolled through Ibotta. This took me 19 minutes. 19 minutes to scroll, find and unlock the grocery savings/earning which totaled $20.50. If I were clocking in and out and expecting a paycheck, I basically made a dollar a minute just doing this doing this!”
Captured…
My OB invited the kids and I out for a tour of the hangar where he keeps his airplane. He gave us in-depth explanation of each of the planes in the hanger and then let us sit in his.
