Welcome to my weekly Daybook post here at The Littlest Way. This is a post where I gather all the ordinary things that happen or are happening in my day to day. Things like what I’m reading or listening to…eating and cleaning and learning…These are the small moments that make up my blessed daily life; and I want to remember them. I would love to read your Daybook, just leave it in the comments section below. You can use my prompts or make up your own to include items important to you; mine change depending on season and circumstance.

Praying…
I have changed up my prayer binder or prayer journal some. I hope to show y’all how I’m using it now. I’m praying for all our teens and young adults–there is no way I would go back to that age. I am praying for courage for not only myself but all of you guys. Each one of us has dreams, hopes and desires and we need courage to chase, reach and work towards them. The world–maybe even family and friends–will try to shut us down or at least discourage us…Courage friends. I pray courage for each one of us!
Pondering…
The words we say to ourselves on a daily basis. My daily affirmations habit has slipped. I was reminded of this recently when a lovely friend of The Littlest Way wrote to ask for some daily affirmations and scripture affirmations as she undergoes chemo. I thank God for her timely reminder and will write a post soon to remind myself how crucial the words I say to myself are.
Listening to…
I mentioned I have a few playlists I have on Amazon Prime last week and a couple of y’all have asked exactly what songs I have on those playlists. As any good blogger (as opposed to a bad blogger??) I am going to share a post with my playlists soon. Hopefully I don’t scandalize you with some of my songs?!?

Bible Journaling…
I’m planning on setting a communal start date for our Sirach Bible Study and Journal.
Around the House…
I try not to wash clothes on Sunday–I just really need the break y’all. I also try not to open the computer or use any social media or email on my phone during the day, at least until after dinner on Sunday evening. I’m not always great about this, but it is my plan every Sunday. All that to say, Sunday evenings when everyone else goes to bed, I get on the computer. And Monday morning laundry is not pretty!
In the Kitchen…
I like Aldis prices, but their store confuses me…and the boxes…but I try and that’s what matters. Friday night Chris and I went on a date and then to Sams. There are just some things I have to buy there in big packages: cereal, cheese, blueberries, salad, nutella, sausage patties, coconut oil, salsa, apples, tortilla chips, etc…these are staples. I have to go to Walmart for lunch meat, flour tortillas, yogurt, bread, cream cheese, peanut butter, Ranch dressing, lettuce, fruit tea, powerade, macaroini and cheese, pasta, soup, etc…and then the rest at Aldi.
Our Domestic Church…
This Wednesday is the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross and Thursday is the Feast of Our Lady of Sorrows. Please say prayers for my Luke, he plans on making his Total Consecration to Jesus through Mary on the Feast of the Seven Sorrows.
Saving Money…
I just laid out in detail (sorry) how I grocery shop now in an effort to save money on food…whew!
