Praying for…
I’m praying for some big dreams and ideas I have for myself and my family.
I’m praying prayers of thanksgiving that we FINALLY seem to be almost well. NINE WEEKS we were sick..9! I mean sick like multiple breathing treatments per person per day on top of antibiotics plus multiple doctors visits each week…for 9 weeks. Someone commented to me the other day we were lucky we didn’t get that respiratory virus we’re hearing about on the news. “How do you know you didn’t have it?!” replied our doctor. “They are only testing patients that have to be hospitalized and you have to get special permission from the local health department and the CDC and why bother with all that because treatment is the same. We’re not messing around with all that, so who knows if you had it or not!” Yes, he said it with an exclamation mark at the end.
And prayers of thanksgiving for the friends who brought us food and prayed us through.
Pondering…
Our country is a mess isn’t it? Things are happening that I could have and would never have predicted happening even 5 years ago.

Crocheting…
I have not done much crocheting lately. I have Leo’s fluffy brown and blue variegated blanket about half or more completed? And I have a Fall and cream color variegated throw for Bernadette started. Most of my crocheting happens on my Pinterest board right now.

In the Kitchen…
So uninspired and out of the habit after being sick for so long. Must get back in there and start churning out some healthy food.
Saving Money…
Have you ever visited The Budget Mama? Jessi has some great information on her site. Small, easy to digest financial tips that make a big difference.
Anna and I fell off the grocery saving wagon, again because of the great respiratory virus of 2014. Must get back on track with saving money at the grocery store…stat!
Looking Ahead…
Well, we’re a bit behind in life…house cleaning, school and such. And do I need to tell you how lax our routines have become? Lots of work ahead. I need to remind myself, patience..patience…
