I’m practicing 30 days of Thanksgiving for the month of November to remind myself Thanksgiving is more than just a day.
Day 4 of my 30 Days of Thanksgiving! It may be too soon to tell…but I think I see a correlation between my 30 Days of Thanksgiving and being able to meet a couple of goals in my Goal Setting for the month go November; namely not raising my voice at my children.
I would love for you to join me either on your blog or in the comments with your own 30 Days of Thanksgiving–even if you’re new here and it’s 26 Days of Thanksgiving.
For as many sentences that start with “I saw this thing on Pinterest…” There may be equal number of sentences that begin with, “Before the internet…” And here’s mine, “Before the internet, I read more books.” Reading less books since the internet, well, that hasn’t stopped me from buying more books though. Wham, there’s a double confession! So each week here on The Littlest Way, I’m going to share some of my favorite books I’ve read. The accountability of posting on my Book Club Time Page will make me read more, theoretically. Why the sudden enthusiasm, St Josemaria Escriva and his writings in The Way. As I read bits and pieces of it the other night, I thought of sharing our favorites in a Book Club Time: Spiritual Reading post.
Welcome to my 30 Days of Thanksgiving Challenge where I will post my gratitude list for 30 days. I want a season of thanksgiving no a day.
I’m going to get a jump on all the New Year goal setting rush. I’m starting to keep myself accountable by setting monthly goals here on The Littlest Way. I’m so glad to have you all to help keep me accountable; first there’s the Book Club Time so I will actually read these books sitting on the shelves, then there’s Bible reading and affirmations. I run my own little self Jenny group it seems. So this post is my Goal Setting: November 2014 post.
Hi there and welcome to my weekly Daybook: Online Journal. This is a collection of the everyday things that may seem insignificant at the time, but I know I will want to remember them later. It has been said the days are long and the years short…and this week has been a pretty long one. But looking back, I think I will remember the length only to wish it would have been longer. Not feeling that way right now, but give me some time and I’ll probably get there. If you post a weekly Daybook: Online Journal, please leave a link in the comments so I can visit.
