I’m keeping a running list of thanksgiving–30 Days of Thanksgiving to be exact–for the month of November. I’m forcing myself to remember Thanksgiving is a choice, a way of thinking and a way of life. It’s more than just a day at the end of the month of November. I’m inviting you to please join me. Who cares if it’s already November 19th, jump in anyway! You’ll be glad you did. If you blog, leave a link in the comments; if you don’t leave your list in the comments.
Making Thanksgiving Traditions at Home
Growing up, we would go to my grandma’s house for Thanksgiving lunch. We’d eat with aunts, uncles and cousins and take home enough leftovers for Turkey sandwiches with dill pickles, mayo and Worcestershire sauce on them. For a few years after I married we would eat lunch with my family and dinner with my husband’s. Eventually that changed into eating dinner at his parent’s. After his mom’s death a few years ago, our Thanksgiving traditions changed again. We now spend Thanksgiving at home with just our immediate family. Although we do not travel or see other family, we have made our own Thanksgiving Traditions at home.
I’m guest posting over at Beauty Through Imperfection today. Head over there to read the rest…

11.16.14 Daybook: Online Journal
Welcome to my weekly Sunday post, Daybook Online Journal. I made a slight change to the normal prompts. Instead of “Captured” I included “What I Wore Sunday.” You can keep up with my captures by following my Instagram account. If you have a blog and write an online journal type of post, leave the link in the comments. If you don’t blog, answer the prompts in the comment section. I’d love a peek into your day to day.
Just a reminder, if you shop Amazon this Christmas–or anytime–click through here and I get a little change in my pocket when you make a purchase–at no extra cost to you. It’s not enough to make me retire, but it is enough to help cover the cost of The Littlest Way. I appreciate it.
