For the past four years I’ve been making decisions from a place of exhaustion and pain. I’m coming out of a hard season with loads of grace and revelations.
One way to spot bravery is to recognize who can control their emotions and who cannot. The brave person strives to master their emotions while the coward flails about recklessly.
Based on a working definition of patience, “Patience enables us to endure present evils without sadness or resentment in conformity to the will of God,” my puffy eyes, tear stained pillow and thoughts of “What in the world” and “Why” would prove I have not endured with patience. I desperately need these Bible verses about patience.
When you start learning Bible Verses About Patience be prepared to be stretched in all the right places for all the best of reasons, all for God’s glory!
Being able to memorize and recite inspiring Bible quotes is awesome. Living a life of encourage one another quotes is much better. And this encouragement doesn’t have to fancy, hard, or out of our way. Sometimes the best thing we can encourage someone else is gift them with a smile. This goes for us too.
In this Lent Devotional for Women post we consider this quote, “A thing cannot give what it doesn’t have.” But then I change it to, “A person cannot love others well if they don’t love them themselves.” I’m a Lent Devotions rebel like that! Lent and love, all part of our daily devotions for Lent.
