The Scriptures state the enemy comes to kill, steal, and destroy. I don’t need to tell you how curiosity can kill our joy and steal our peace. So let’s see how curiosity is a ploy of the enemy.
If triumph over sin, vice, and death is possible through penance and obedience to God’s Word…I probably need to know some of God’s Word huh? Not only do I need to be familiar with Who God is, I also need to know what He says. The enemy certainly knows the scriptures–he used them to try to tempt Jesus.
I had a plan for Lent but when it becomes clear that my plan and God’s plan might be different, I should wholeheartedly embrace His plan, He is the Master Planner after all.
If we took the phrase “Free to Flourish” and ran it through a Thesaurus we’d come out with “Able to Thrive” Now that’s what I’m talking about! I love that flourishing is totally within our ability!
