Welcome to my weekly post, Daybook Online Journal here at The Littlest Way. This is a post where I gather all the ordinary things that happen or are happening in my day to day. Things like what I’m reading or listening to…eating and cleaning and learning…These are the small moments that make up my blessed daily life; and I want to remember them. I would love to read your Daybook Online Journal, just leave it in the comments section below. You can use my prompts or make up your own to include items important to you; mine change depending on season and circumstance.
We recently took a much anticipated family vacation to Florida. My “Florida Vacation Bucket List” had 2 items on it:
1. Try Fish Tacos.
I’m happy to report I ate them three times! This is at The Old Salty Dog on Longboat Key.
2. See a sunset on the beach.
Chris took this picture of Bernadette at Siesta Key Beach.

Pondering…
Consistent diligence…what now since we’ve paid off the house…blogging…homeschooling next year…eating better to feed my mind and keep it healthy…walking for the same reason…teens and toddlers.
Listening to…
Right now I’m listening to a Classical playlist on Amazon. When you’re a Prime member, there is an extensive music library available! I even made a “Family Road Trip” playlist that we listened to on our drive to and from Florida recently. I also signed up for a free 30 day Audible trial and got two free audiobooks. We loved listening to The Green Ember! Especially my husband Chris!
Reading…
My large print Bible
Success is Not an Accident
Any friend of The Littlest Way knows how much I love Tommy Newberry. He’s the author of one of my favorite books, The 4:8 Principle.
Bible Journaling…
My friend Misty recently recommended I try a Travelers Notebook for my prayer and Bible journaling. I’m going to try a Color Crush Travelers Notebook. Pictures and post will be coming.
Around the House…
I am so excited!! Kathryn and her family will be in town for Bishop Konderla’s Ordination and they are coming out here to visit!! Operation “Clean Everything” will be in full force. First up, I need to call the washing machine haul off guy…again. Having a broken washing machine sitting on my back porch is not the stuff good first impressions are made of.
More long term, I need to pick out paint colors. The living room hasn’t been painted in 10 years. 10 years + 7 children = it needs to be repainted…along with many other rooms in the house. I’m thinking gray tones?
In the Kitchen…
I pretty much ate off Trim Healthy Mama plan while on vacation. I feel it mentally, physically and blood sugar wise. I’ve been being very intentional to get back on track for my mind and blood sugar first and foremost.
Our Domestic Church…
Our daily Mass time is early, 7am! As much as I would love to go to at least one more Mass a week…um, 7am. So the kids and I have been making a weekly Holy Hour and going to confession.
Saving Money…
I have been using Everydollar the last couple of weeks. I.LOVE.IT!

Ah. What a lovely life.
Happy 4th.

Thanks Lux. My souvenir from Florida was a “Life is Good” tee shirt.

I think it may be too late, since I am almost certain you have already made a good first impression. So, if the guy doesn’t show up to haul it away, place a lovely doily and a bouquet of fresh flowers upon it and you’ll be just fine. Lol.
Jenny says
Haha! We had a wonderful time with the Whitaker’s. And she said our place felt like home. That is a huge compliment!
