Welcome to My Daybook Online Journal. A weekly post here at The Littlest Way where I gather all the ordinary things that happen or are happening in my day to day. Things like what I’m reading or listening to, eating, cleaning, and learning. These are the small moments that make up my blessed daily life and I want to remember them. My prompts may change depending on season and circumstance.

Bible Reading…
Here are some notes I’ve shared the past week on YouVersion. This is an app you can download on your phone and when we friend each other on the app, we can share notes, highlights, and reading plans.
Philippians 4:6
Be saturated in prayer
2 Chronicles 33:12-13
Manasseh was the WORST! He completely and blatantly disobeyed God and God sent the Assyrian commanders to take him prisoner. BUT…he humbled himself and called out to God…and God listened.
Mark 6:31
Rest is good and necessary. It refreshes and restores and gives me energy to keep actively following and serving Jesus.
In the Kitchen…
The weather has turned cooler, thanks be to God! Except I don’t want cold weather God. Anyway, it’s soup weather! We had a yummy hamburger soup made with ground turkey on Saturday and then chili Sunday night. Yum! What are some of your favorite soup recipes?

Self Care
I have faithfully exercised five days a week since June 1st. This is huge for me y’all! I can be so inconsistent with things like this…well, with most things. Committing to myself in this way has made a huge difference in all areas of my life. Across the board I feel stronger, more capable, and just better overall. If you’re not sure where to start, just start by stretching for 10 minutes everyday or do 10 pushups a day, just start!
When the weather changes like this at least one of my children gets a croupy cough; it was Leo this weekend. I started diffusing Raven and rolling a roller bottle of Raven and Fractionated Coconut oil down his spine and the soles of his feet.
(I used to purchase my essential oils from Amazon or Edens Garden instead of a distributor. You can read my thoughts on why here, “Where I’m From…” I’ve since decided I don’t have the time or resources to properly educate myself on using the oils to their fullest potential. That’s why I signed up with Young Living under a former Family Practice Physician.)

I’ve gained some valuable insight into my writing and blogging. Whew! Because I’ve been struggling with a vision and purpose here. I think these new insights will be evident in the posts here and on social media. Do you follow me on Facebook or Instagram? I usually “micro-blog” over there.

What a coincidence, I cooked beef stew and chili this weekend too! I like to use my crock-pot as much as possible, and cook things that produce plenty of leftovers for freezing for later. Sirach has been as difficult for me as Proverbs was. Feel like I need to move my bed into the confessional! LOL. Praying for wisdom, understanding, guidance, and patience. Therapy for spinal issues in hopes I can get back to SoulCore and Rosary meditation. You should check it out. Great workouts done while meditating on the Rosary. 7th grade homeschool is kicking butt and taking names! Plus a new kitten in the house that Jack’s service dog does not like! He’s jealous. EIEIO!!!! Have a great week!!

Girl you have a LOT going on!
Add to your prayer that you see yourself the way God sees you…it might not be as bad as you think♥

It’s all good! I thrive in semi-organized chaos!! Keeps me on my toes. I wouldn’t know any other way. I’ll pray on seeing myself the way God sees me, just don’t like the way I see me!
