Welcome to my weekly post, the Daybook, here at The Littlest Way. This is a post where I gather all the ordinary things that happen or are happening in my day to day. Things like what I’m reading or listening to, eating and cleaning and learning. These are the small moments that make up my blessed daily life and I want to remember them. I would love to read your Daybook, just leave it in the comments section below. You can use my prompts or make up your own to include items important to you; mine change depending on season and circumstance.

Praying…
I am praying for all of our teens. This is world is so hard on them and for them. I’m praying for all our late teen/young adult children, same reason I mentioned before but add to the fact everyone is always asking them what they want to do or be for the rest of their life.
Pondering…
I’m pondering Lent.
Listening to…
Bernadette had me listen to a new song this morning, Tell Your Heart to Beat Again.
Reading…
My large print Bible
We and Our Children: How to Make a Catholic Home
“Without adequate knowledge of God’s love, the bottom drops out of everything. A merely vague indication that He is somewhere about and loves them is small comfort for when they are really hurt and heartsick.”
“Living in a fallen world, our children are bound to be hurt, both physically and spiritually. We will save them years of wasted opportunities if we teach them that, along with everything else, pain is a part of their prayer.”
Reflections On The Passion (We read this every night during family prayer during Lent.)
Around the House…
My washing machine started pouring water out from underneath on Friday. The earliest repair time I could get is the 16th. I called and asked if there was any way I could get an earlier repair time and they said yes, the 12th. That’s a week away from when it broke ya’ll!
In the Kitchen…
I love Trim Healthy Mama . Everywhere we went while traveling, I could easily find something on plan to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Our Domestic Church…
Lent begins Wednesday! I mentioned a week ago I was in the process of putting together a Daily Lenten Devotional like the one for Advent. I will offer it as a printable ebook after Lent. During Lent I’ll be posting the reflections and meditations here.
Saving Money…
Not washing laundry for a week should cut down on the water and electric bill no?
Captured…
Nothing. I totally forgot to grab my big camera for our trip and I didn’t take a single picture on my phone; not a food shot, soccer shot, hotel room shot or selfie…nothing!
