Welcome to my weekly post, Daybook Online Journal here at The Littlest Way. This is a post where I gather all the ordinary things that happen or are happening in my day to day. Things like what I’m reading or listening to…eating and cleaning and learning…These are the small moments that make up my blessed daily life; and I want to remember them. I would love to read your Daybook Online Journal, just leave it in the comments section below. You can use my prompts or make up your own to include items important to you; mine change depending on season and circumstance.
Thanking God for…

Praying…
Right now I’m just praying the Lord will show me how to be the best me–the one He created me to be. I also have a a few intentions very close to my heart.
Pondering…
I’m pondering what it looks like to raise children in this world. My baby is 4, so I have many years a head of me. My oldest is almost 18, so I’m wondering what I’ve done “right” and what I need to work on for the short amount of time she’s still living here at home.
Listening to…
Right now I’m listening to nothing. As much as I enjoyed the conference this weekend, I’m enjoying the semi-quiet today.

Bible Journaling…
A lovely friend here at The Littlest Way sent me a journaling Bible in the mail this week!
Around the House…
My family did such a great job keeping things going while I was away for the weekend! On another exciting “around the house” note, we just bought a little vacuum for our un-carpeted floors. I love that little guy! It is so much faster and cleaner than sweeping…and the kids think it’s fun!
In the Kitchen…
Before I wen tout of town I put together Pioneer Woman’s Spicy Pulled Pork for the family to toss in the crockpot early Saturday morning before they left for a day of soccer games. It’s one of our favorite recipes. I used two pork roasts so they would enough for dinner and then leftovers after church on Sunday.
Our Domestic Church…
::Happy Feast of the Annunciation!
::April is dedicated to the Most Blessed Sacrament and our parish just started perpetual adoration!
::Jessica has a list of great resources for living the month of April liturgically.
Saving Money…
The day before I left on my weekend trip I ran to the store to get groceries to hold my people over until I got back in town. (Which if you’re a momma reading this you know it means I need to grocery shop soon because I bought “weekend convenience” food for them, except the Spicy Pulled Pork mentioned above.) Back to my grocery shopping story. I must have just missed the meat fairy who went down the meat aisle placing yellow “Reduced” stickers on a bunch of meat! I grabbed a couple of roasts for the Spicy Pulled Pork and some pork chops and burgers for the freezer. I love seeing those pretty yellow stickers!
