Welcome to My Daybook Online Journal. A weekly post here at The Littlest Way where I gather all the ordinary things that happen or are happening in my day to day. Things like what I’m reading or listening to, eating, cleaning, and learning. These are the small moments that make up my blessed daily life and I want to remember them. My prompts may change depending on season and circumstance.

Oh y'all! I woke up with a big 'ol God revelation and realization! This revelation explains So.Much! And when I shared it with Chris, it made perfect sense to him too. The plan is to write about it on the blog this week. But let me just say a few things here. Yes, these might seem a repeat, but they're important and traumatic. I mentioned recently something like 3 or 4 out of my 5 worst nightmares happened last year . . I lost my grandma two months before 2019. Good Friday of 2019 I had a biopsy on my face and one week later a diagnosis of Melanoma in Situ and two weeks later plastic surgery down to the muscle in my cheek to remove it. There have been other, not written about things as well All that recap to say, what has seemed like disorganization, forgetfulness, scatter-brained, and maybe even selfish…well, it's not. And what has seemed like and felt like, and what others have thought were faults and flaws and mistakes, now I see them as a gift from God. I cannot wait to share the story Friends, hit Email Friends with Benefits in my profile to make sure you don't miss this post.
::our Online Bible Study Community
Bridget was sick yesterday and even though old enough to stay home without us, she just felt bad so we tag-teamed Mass. I ended up going to the local Church up the road instead of the parish we belong to and it was amazing! After Mass the priest, a sweet Hispanic priest asked everyone to sit down he had an announcement and needed their help. He said in the pew there were slips of paper that asked for name, address, and phone number. If you knew of someone who was Catholic and no longer practicing their faith, write their information down and he would “go find them.” He said the pope has told the priests to get out of the office and he wants to go find the sheep who have wandered. It was so beautiful I sat in the back pew and cried.
This song is on repeat around here and everytime I listen to it, I cry

Around the House…
It’s cold, wet, and dreary. My choices are clean or read…
In the Kitchen…
We have a super busy week! I need to think crockpot meals, leftovers or freezer meals.
I got some new oils in and I am LOVING them! I specifically ordered Harmony, Valor, Joy, and White Angelica to use in the morning for a “Great Day Protocol.” Friends, I know some question using essential oils as a Christian, I even wrote a blog post about it, Can Christians Use Essential Oils. And no, I do not believe the oils make me have a good day. I DO believe the power of the plants God created and I DO believe the power of setting my heart and mind intention for the day in conjunction with using the plants God made for us.
(I used to purchase my essential oils from Amazon or Edens Garden instead of a distributor. You can read my thoughts on why here, “Where I’m From…” I’ve since decided I don’t have the time or resources to properly educate myself on using the oils to their fullest potential. That’s why I signed up with Young Living under a former Family Practice Physician.)

Did you catch my post on Friday telling the Internet Catholics to quit shaming families at Mass when a child is in their sports uniform? It was a good one if I do say so myself. AND, that IG post above where I talk about a God Revelation? That will be a post hopefully sometime this week ♥

Friends, today on the blog I address a recent article I read shaming Catholic parents for showing up to Sunday Mass with their child in a sports uniform In full disclosure and lest I be accused of click bait by not sharing at least a snippet of my response here, we've been that family Read the post to find out how it happens, why it happens, and why I'm not the least bit ashamed…as a matter of fact, I even share a story celebrating the idea! Let's not be meaner than we need to be. Let's not make things harder than they need to be Let's live a life that makes others want to grow in closer friendship with Jesus…not run from His Church (HT to @leticiaoadams for teaching me how to love more and better right where I am and doing the same for others right where they are.)
