Welcome to My Daybook Online Journal. A weekly post here at The Littlest Way where I gather all the ordinary things that happen or are happening in my day to day. Things like what I’m reading or listening to, eating, cleaning, and learning. These are the small moments that make up my blessed daily life and I want to remember them. My prompts may change depending on season and circumstance.

Praying…
I’m praying for the Lord to continue to soften my heart and open my eyes. I’m also praying for some clarity and specific direction here on The Littlest Way. I know where my heart lies and I know my passion, now to make the necessary changes.

Bible Reading…
I’ve posted two Instagram stories this week so far! Both dealing with reading your Bible. To sum them up, keep reading! Even if you don’t understand, even if it’s hard, even if it’s boring, even if you don’t think you have time…keep reading your Bible (or start). And if you need some help, some hand-holding, or just some friends to read with, join our Online Bible Study Community!
In the Kitchen…
Megan, V’s roommate, is letting me borrow her Instapot for the summer so hit me with your favorite recipes! Also, if you still have not tried Walmart Online Grocery Shopping, why? I am always amazed at how much money I save when I use it…which means I’m equally amazed at how much of an impulse shopper I am, ahem.

Self Care
Ok, I am now one of those gym people who could talk gym, weights, and working out all day long. I also make Chris feel my muscle definition all the time! So, self-care, well, I’m definitely gaining muscle and definitely not losing fat. To me, this means I need to add some cardio, but I hate cardio and don’t want to do cardio, so I’m going to try the rowing machines at the gym and work on some extra FUSE workouts my friend designed–think a few weight-bearing exercises done as fast as possible, like a HIIT maybe? Um, there’s also diet, ahem. I may need to cut back on the Peanut M&Ms.
Self-care this past week looked like heading off a UTI before it got bad. Now, remember, I am not a doctor, I’m just a girlfriend telling what I did. I felt a UTI coming on so I started drinking tons of water or Boost Juice which is super in vitamin C thanks to the Baobab Powder. I also made sure to take my Life 9 Probiotic at night and during the day I took a couple of Inner Defense capsules.
Inner Defense contains:
Virgin Coconut Oil which is a known supporter for skin, hair and nails. It is also supportive of the cardiovascular, renal, and GI systems as well as supportive of the bones and pancreas.
Beeswax is supportive of digestion and is an antioxidant.
Soy Lecithin is a phospholipid, which is needed by every cell in the body. You can google what health benefits phospholipids can offer. I will leave you with it being known as benefiting several health conditions.
Inner Defense is infused with the following Essential Oils:
Clove essential oil is highly beneficial for its immune-supporting and antioxidant activities.
Oregano essential oil is high in carvacrol and thymol. These constituents can aid with occasional digestive issues, support the immune and respiratory systems, support the joint and musculoskeletal flexibility, and even may support oral health.
Thyme essential oil is rich in thymol and is a respiratory and immune-supporting oil.
Lemongrass essential oil supports the genito-urinary system as well as the immune system.
Lemon essential oil is supportive of immune health and improves focus.
Eucalyptus Radiata essential oil is also immune-supporting.
Rosemary essential oil is another terrific immune supporting oil and may improve mental clarity.
Cinnamon Bark essential oil is immune and hematologic (blood) system supporting.
Life 9
It combines 17 billion live cultures from nine beneficial bacteria strains. It helps promote healthy digestion, supports gut health, and helps maintain normal intestinal function for the overall support of a healthy immune system.
Life 9 is designed with targeted-release capsules, a dual-sorbent desiccant, and a special bottle and cap to ensure that your Life 9 stays fresh and effective.
Usage: 1-2 capsules 2 times daily to support immune health. Improved synergy when taken in conjunction with Life 9 Probiotic 8 hours after taking Inner Defense capsules.
(I used to purchase my essential oils from Amazon or Edens Garden instead of a distributor. You can read my thoughts on why here, “Where I’m From…” I’ve since decided I don’t have the time or resources to properly educate myself on using the oils to their fullest potential. That’s why I signed up with Young Living under a former Family Practice Physician.)
