Welcome to My Daybook Online Journal. A weekly post here at The Littlest Way where I gather all the ordinary things that happen or are happening in my day to day. Things like what I’m reading or listening to, eating, cleaning, and learning. These are the small moments that make up my blessed daily life and I want to remember them. My prompts may change depending on season and circumstance.

Praying…
Ugh, a lot. Relationships are hard, people let us down…we let people down. We should regularly be examining our hearts and our conscience–praying to forgive and praying to be forgiven.

I’m going to try to put together a Spotify Playlist for our June Bible Study, God’s Promises. Doesn’t that sound like fun?! If you have any suggestions please drop them in the comments. And if you want to join our Online Bible Study in June, click here.

Around the House…
Finally! After sixteen years I talked Chris into taking down the drop ceiling in the kitchen!! He says he loves it, I think he partly loves it and partly didn’t want to pay or do the work to take it down. It actually came down a lot easier than he thought it would. Now I need to fill some nail holes, paint the wall and ceiling, and then we’ll have someone come in and install new lighting. It already looks so much bigger and brighter!
In the Kitchen…
We made a delicious meal with leftover rice, beans, cheese mixed with cream cheese, and corn tortillas. It was an enchilada type dish made with homemade enchilada sauce, yummy! Tonight I made a chicken stir-fry with some frozen peppers and onions, some already sliced and shredded veggies, chicken, and rice.

Self Care
I started a gentle five-day cleanse using Balance Complete from Young Living. The problem is I didn’t check to see if it had whey in it…it does. I think whey is what was bothering my stomach a few years ago. I did the cleanse for one day. I’m wondering if I can do it every other day? I know, not a cleanse in the truest sense, but maybe something is better than nothing?
Dr. Edie, the matriarch of our essential oil family will be hosting a class on the 27th, “Essential Oils from a Doctor’s Perspective.” If you’d like and invite to the free class, no pressure to buy anything just some great information about oils, email me for an invite.
(I used to purchase my essential oils from Amazon or Edens Garden instead of a distributor. You can read my thoughts on why here, “Where I’m From…” I’ve since decided I don’t have the time or resources to properly educate myself on using the oils to their fullest potential. That’s why I signed up with Young Living under a former Family Practice Physician.)
