Welcome to My Daybook Online Journal. A weekly post here at The Littlest Way where I gather all the ordinary things that happen or are happening in my day to day. Things like what I’m reading or listening to, eating, cleaning, and learning. These are the small moments that make up my blessed daily life and I want to remember them. My prompts may change depending on season and circumstance.

Today marks the one year anniversary of me intentionally and consistently working out! Now, I did take some time off around the holidays and quarantine which I am not pleased about, but it is what it is. Tonight, at the last minute I decided to take a Bootcamp class, something I would have never done or been able to do last year! It was fun, a sneaky way to get cardio in mixed with weights; I love weights, I do not love cardio.
Anna just made some popcorn with Rosemary and Lemon essential oil that tasted pretty yummy! I love how versatile essential oils are.
(I used to purchase my essential oils from Amazon or Edens Garden instead of a distributor. You can read my thoughts on why here, “Where I’m From…” I’ve since decided I don’t have the time or resources to properly educate myself on using the oils to their fullest potential. That’s why I signed up with Young Living under a former Family Practice Physician.)

Friends, you know how sometimes your mind feels all mixed up and confused and no matter how hard you think or try to figure things out you just can’t so you start doing something mindless like folding laundry, washing dishes, cleaning a shower or even taking a shower and suddenly things start sorting themselves out? My mind is sorting things out right now and I’m mapping out some new steps to take with my blog, writing, and social media. I’ve been blogging for years and the last couple of years have been hard blogging years. I’ve attributed it to this or that and kept trying to push through. This past week I had a conversation with two blogging mentors I’ve known for years and by the end of the conversation one of them told me I was no longer a blogger😳 See, my heart, my passion has shifted in the last couple of years and she was intuitive enough to recognize it and bold enough to say it. She recognized my heart is in growing and nuturing our Online Bible Study Community❤️ I started our online community because I wanted women to talk to who wanted to grow in closer friendship with Jesus but maybe couldn’t commit to a weekly Bible study meeting because they were sitting in the car waiting on a child or had just gotten home late and only wanted their PJs, their bed, and a guilty snack🍨 I started our online community so I could talk to women who wanted to learn more about Jesus but felt undereducated, unqualified, too simple, too embarrassed, too sinful even to show up to a home Bible study. I started our online community because I didn’t want women to worry about what to wear, what snack to bring, arranging for a babysitter, cleaning their house to host, asking questions, showing up on time or leaving early. I started our Online Bible Study Community for women with dirty bathroom mirrors, a stain on their t-shirt, fleece lined Crocs and shorts in May. I started our Online Bible Study Community for me and you so we could get together and talk about Jesus, ask questions, freely admit we don’t always understand the Bible, and sometimes think it’s boring to read😬 Link in my bio-Welcome!!
