Welcome to my weekly post, Daybook Online Journal here at The Littlest Way. This is a post where I gather all the ordinary things that happen or are happening in my day to day. Things like what I’m reading or listening to…eating and cleaning and learning…These are the small moments that make up my blessed daily life; and I want to remember them. I would love to read your Daybook Online Journal, just leave it in the comments section below. You can use my prompts or make up your own to include items important to you; mine change depending on season and circumstance.
Thanking God for…
::making schedules work
::pretty spiral notebooks
::the reach of technology
It seems I have so much to pray for I’m not sure where to start.
When you think you’ll never be one of those moms who drives hours for a soccer game. And then you do…and she lays across the front seat, taking charge of the radio and singing along. She reads when you want to talk and you listen when she’s ready to talk. You learn how she thinks and feels about life, veiled in how she recounts a game, a play or an opponent. And you realize, you thought “never” because your sight was limited. All you saw was money and road hours not realizing you can’t put a price tag on time with your girl in the car; those times when you learn her heart and hear how her mind works…and listen to her sing. #nowisnow #momofgirls #soccermom
Maximilian, Leo and I had an impromptu dance party in the car the other day while waiting for Luke’s soccer game to start. Leo needed coaxing and of course Maximilian did not!
My large print Bible
Since we started back to school and soccer a couple of weeks ago, my Bible journaling time has decreased. Not the “old school” pen and paper way so much as the artistic journaling.
Around the House…
EVERYTHING needs dusted. Why am I just now noticing this? Did the sun shift to a different angel that suddenly revealed more dust? Or new dust?
In the Kitchen…
I just got shipping confirmation from Amazon for Trim Healthy Mama Cookbook: Eat Up and Slim Down with More Than 350 Healthy Recipes and Trim Healthy Mama Cookbook: Eat Up and Slim Down with More Than 350 Healthy Recipes and I’m still loving my Build a Menu subscription to help me stay on track. My children even know and will tell me, “Momma, that will make you feel bad if you eat it.”
I shared 20 Chicken Recipes for Big Families last week and will share 20 Beef Recipes for Big Families this week. As I mentioned in my posts, I just do what I do when it comes to feeding my big family, not realizing that some people would like to know how we do what we do! I know I would have just out of curiosity before I had my family and then once I started having children, out of “Help me figure this all out please!”
