Welcome to How to Live the Little Way. A weekly post here at The Littlest Way where I gather all the ordinary things that happen or are happening in my day to day. Things like what I’m reading or listening to, eating, cleaning, and learning. These are the small moments that make up my blessed daily life and I want to remember them. My prompts may change depending on season and circumstance.
Thanking God for…
::He is Risen!!
::Veronica bringing a teammate home for Easter
::laughing and playing cards around the dining room table
::a pinata for Easter
::my children enjoying each other
::my sister’s family
Still praying all the prayers. Our Lady of Sorrows…Pray for Us! We’re also praying for a great full-time nanny job for our daughter this summer.
My health. I had a place on my face removed for a biopsy on Friday and am waiting for the results. Prayers appreciated. Also, we invited Luke’s assistant soccer coach over for shearing day and he brought his younger sister. They are from large family and lost their dad almost 2 years ago to cancer. After shearing we ate and then they kids all played a pick-up game of soccer in the yard. It was so much fun to watch!! The young man texted me that day thanking us for the day and then the next day came over to my car at the soccer field to tell me again how much fun they had. He said it had been a while since he had just done something for fun like that. He also appreciated the whole family scene. He has a fantastic family, mom, brothers and sisters, but he made mention of the dad being involved in playing as well. He said it took him back into his memories and he appreciated that,

Bible Journaling and Verse Mapping…
I need to get some posts written on some recent verse mapping I’ve done. I typically post pictures of my journaling and mapping over on Instagram.

While verse mapping, Bible Journaling, studying the Bible…whatever, the other day, I came across one of my new favorite verses. I was in Psalm 36 but there was a cross reference to Psalm 16:11 You will show me the way of life, granting me the joy of your presence and the pleasure of living with you forever. -New Living Translation Who are you trusting in to show you the way of life? Self 😂 Someone else trying to figure it all out too 😳 Whose presence are you seeking for you or with joy? Who do you want to spend forever with? Where do you want to spend forever? I get it. #nowisnow and #nowisgood but #eternityisforever and #godisbetter
Around the House…
I need to get caught up on laundry. I’d say it’s because I was enjoying the Easter weekend, but I always have to get caught up on laundry, so…I also still need to repaint the part of the bathroom where I dropped a bottle of dark blue fingernail polish and it exploded on the freshly painted wall. UGH! The wall is textured and freshly painted so any attempts to remove the polish also removes the new paint.
In the Kitchen…
I’m not sure anything can compare to the feeling of getting the last available time slot for Walmart Grocery Pickup! We have Mexican food for Easter and have leftovers for today, Yay! So we have grilled chicken fajitas, spicy pulled pork, rice and beans. After today, ummm….
I’ve slowly started getting back into my exercise routine and it feels so good to pay attention to intentionally moving my body.
