Welcome to “How to Live the Little Way” This is a weekly post here at The Littlest Way where I gather all the ordinary things that happen or are happening in my day to day. Things like what I’m reading or listening to, eating, cleaning, and learning. These are the small moments that make up my blessed daily life and I want to remember them. My prompts may change depending on season and circumstance.
* I’ve written an ebook to guide you through the whys and hows to get started with Bible Journaling, Bible Journaling Tips, Inspiration and Permission, and to encourage and inspire you in your Bible journaling!

Praying…
The Lord knows the deepest prayers of this momma’s heart.
Pondering…
The second week of our Online Bible Study has begun so I’m pondering Philippians…all the heart eyes!
Listening to…
The washer and dryer. I’m trying to seek silence so I can listen to God more.
Reading…
The One Year Bible – Catholic: NLT
This is my “quantity” Bible to make sure I get the Word inside me each and every day.
Catholic Journaling Bible
This is my study Bible.
Bible Journaling…
I loved the Bible Journaling I shared on Friday, Catholic Journaling Bible: Firm Faith. If it wasn’t my first time hearing the story, it definitely was my first time “knowing” the story.
Around the House…
I need to get things ready to leave this week. V and I are headed to Colorado for Nationals. I picked up my groceries this morning, with just the right amount of junk food since momma will be gone, lol!
In the Kitchen…
I know, I know I mention every week how much I love Walmart Online Grocery, but I really do. I put in an order last night, picked it up this morning, and we’re good for the rest of the week. So simple and easy.

Self Care
I’m starting to get some self-care essentials ready for Veronica and college in a month. L’BRI has their Skin Care Trio on sale. I purchased some Edens Garden Essential Oils two weeks ago when they were on sale.
For myself, aside from essential oils and skin care, I’m back on my treadmill and lifting weights at home and it feels so good…in a “I don’t really feel like doing this necessarily but I always feel so great afterward so I’m going to keep on doing it” kind of way.
(I purchase my essential oils from Amazon or Edens Garden instead of a distributor. If you’re not an Amazon Prime member with FREE shipping, Edens Garden has FREE shipping all the time in the US.)
The Littlest Way
I know we’re only in Week 2 of our Online Bible Study but I can’t wait to jump into August’s study! If you missed the enrollment for July and want in on August, click the link here to be added to the waiting list. We are having so much fun digging into Philippians via Write the Word, Scripture Worksheets, and Facebook chats!
A funny quote from today’s study, “I’m not asking you to reform your entire life this Monday. I’m asking you to focus on just for today.”
Saving Money…
We had a surprise $2K car repair bill recently, it wiped out our Emergency Fund–which is the purpose of an Emergency Fund anyway right. So, now we’re trying to save and scrimp to slowly start building it back up. And Chris’ air-conditioner in his truck doesn’t work. He’s tried to fix it, recharge it, talk sweetly to it…nothing. Did I mention triple digit temps?
Captured…
Our friend bought a pool for his grand-kids. His HOA said “No.” So he donated it to my kids on the Fourth of July. They swam for almost 10 hours that first day! Best gift ever!
