Welcome to How to Live the Little Way. A weekly post here at The Littlest Way where I gather all the ordinary things that happen or are happening in my day to day. Things like what I’m reading or listening to, eating, cleaning, and learning. These are the small moments that make up my blessed daily life and I want to remember them. My prompts may change depending on season and circumstance.
* I’ve written an ebook to guide you through the whys and hows to get started with Bible Journaling, Bible Journaling Tips, Inspiration and Permission, and to encourage and inspire you in your Bible journaling!

Praying…
I am in the longest, hardest, most tiring rosary novena I’ve ever been in.
Pondering…
Listening to…
I have a new favorite song, Benediction by Josh Garrels
“May all of your days shine brightly
And your nights blessed with peace
Wherever you lay down to sleep
And all things are made good
For those who believe
May you grow from a seed
Into a strong, fruitful tree
As the days unfold
Hold your breath to see
Life is a mystery
And joy, it is severe
When the way is rough and steep
But love will make your days complete
And may the work of your hands help those in need
Befriend the lonely, serve the weak
And forgive enemies
And if you find true love, one day marry
Bear a child from your seed
Help it to grow into a tree
As the days unfold
Hold your breathe to see
Life is a mystery
And joy, it is severe
When the way is rough and steep
Love will make your days complete”

Around the House…
We start school tomorrow. My desire to get the house in total and complete order before this happens is at odds with my desire to chill and face the reality that I’m not sure my house has ever been in total and complete order.
In the Kitchen…
Our Aldis has been under construction so it’s been closed for a few weeks. My grocery budget is hurting! It should reopen this week thanks be to God! And let me once again sing the praises of Walmart Online Grocery Pickup. I needed a few things and needed to seriously stay in budget. I placed my $60ish dollar order, got what I needed and made no stupid impulse buys, win-win!

Self Care
I follow the Trim Healhty Mama plan about 90%. At the funeral dinner the other day I ate 100% off plan and checked my blood sugar later because I felt super sleepy and grumpy. My blood sugar was out of a good range, which doesn’t happen when I stick with Trim Healthy Mama. *NOTE: I am not a diabetic but have had Gestational Diabetes and Diabetes runs on both sides of my family. I understand I’m at a greater risk and every so often will check my blood sugar using the monitor I had when I was pregnant. It’s good to be aware.
(I purchase my essential oils from Amazon or Edens Garden instead of a distributor. If you’re not an Amazon Prime member with FREE shipping, Edens Garden has FREE shipping all the time in the US.)
The Littlest Way
I have been so busy setting up the membership for our Online Bible Study Community. A lot of work but a total lobor of love! We are on month three–so far we’ve studied Philippians and James. This month we’re studying Psalm 119. It’s such a beautiful community of lovely women who have committed to reading, writing, praying, and studying the Word of God in community.
Our Domestic Church…
September is dedicated to the Seven Sorrows of the Blessed Virgin Mary. I found this old, old, 2014 old, Seven Sorrows Booklet I created. You can download it here. I need to update this lovely…maybe this week?
Saving Money…
We are coming in to hunting/camping season and the holidays. We have had car issues this year, medical bills, and unexpected bills that have almost exhausted any savings we have and any monies for hunting/camping and holidays. So, um, yeah…

I so love your transparency in your day to day life , complète with struggles. Makes me feel part of a sisterhood and that I’m not alone. ❤️

Awww, this comment makes my heart happy. The enemy would like to make us think we’re all alone, glad I’m busting through that myth!

I love the Seven Sorrows Booklet, Jenny. It was just what I needed at this time in my life. Thanks for sharing it with us.
