Welcome to How to Live the Little Way. A weekly post here at The Littlest Way where I gather all the ordinary things that happen or are happening in my day to day. Things like what I’m reading or listening to, eating, cleaning, and learning. These are the small moments that make up my blessed daily life and I want to remember them. My prompts may change depending on season and circumstance.

Praying…
We finished our 9-week rosary novena last night. Three of the secven of us are/were sick. We still prayed it as a family and finished it! Also, please remember Chris and his family, his uncle died rather suddenly this past week. We will attend his funeral this week.
Eternal rest grant unto him O Lord and may perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul and all the souls of the faithful departed rest in peace. Amen.
Pondering…
Do you have a confession schedule? We try to go every two weeks. Sometimes it turns into three weeks due to whatever, but our goal is every two weeks.
Listening to…
I’m listening to some of the songs off the soundtrack for “A Star is Born.” Have you seen it? I’m super intrigued. I remember watching the old one with Barbara Streisand and Kris Kristofferson. I just finished listening to “Is That Alright”
I want you
To look right in my eyes
To tell me you love me
To be by my side
I want you
At the end of my life
Wanna see your face
When I fall with grace
At the moment I die
Is that alright?
Is that alright?

The One Year Bible – Catholic: NLT
This is my “quantity” Bible to make sure I get the Word inside me each and every day.
Catholic Journaling Bible
This is my study Bible.
Bible Journaling…
Did you catch my recent post comparing the two Catholic Journaling Bibles? Click here to read more. Also, someone asked about the paper quality and thickness. I cannot believe I forgot to include that info. I’ll post a video this week about the paper and how well it holds up to pen and highlighter.
Around the House…
I haven’t felt well for a number of days and I worked Friday and Saturday late evening so…there’s tomorrow to get all the things back in order.
In the Kitchen…
Today while I wasn’t feeling well I flipped through almost the entire Trim Healthy Table cookbook getting new ideas. There are so many great recipes I am completely under utilizing!

Self Care
Right now since I’m sick self care looks like lots of rest, fluids, and cold things to eat since I have an awful sore throat. And Anna has been running the diffuser non-stop!
(I purchase my essential oils from Amazon or Edens Garden instead of a distributor. If you’re not an Amazon Prime member with FREE shipping, Edens Garden has FREE shipping all the time in the US.)
Our Domestic Church…
Anyone else starting to think of Advent? Just me?
Saving Money…
Although I hate grocery shopping at multipe stores; it confuses my mind. I cannot deny that shopping at Aldis first and then Walmart saves us money.

Aww, thank you my friend. Looking back a week later, I wish we were only feeling bad because of a cold or allergies. Little did I know a few short hours later I would learn my grandma only had 24 hours to live.
