In today’s Daily Devotions for Lent, as part of our Lent Devotional for Women, we take up a daily affirmation–at least for this Holy Week. We take up a battle cry, “I will not resist God!” determined to finish this Lent strong. The finish line to Easter is in sight, we can do this!

Daily affirmations can literally change the way we think and feel about our life situations. Let’s make the decision to choose joy this week.
“The night is passed And the day is at hand. Let us, therefore cast off the works of darkness and put on the armor of light.” (Romans 13:12) Wow. I’ve started working on gratitude affirmations with my children and I’d say it’s working because my 6-year-old is happy to report, he is AWESOME! I pray he always thinks so because not only do I think he’s awesome, but so does God.
“I am Connected to God” is just one more of our Daily Affirmations for Women we’ve pulled from an amazing book written by Elizabeth George. This post is about intimacy, connection and how our spiritual, mental, and emotional health can suffer if we don’t put a rhythm method of ‘God Time’ in place.
