Have you noticed how quiet our Lord was throughout this ordeal? He rarely spoke. When He did, it was measured and to the point. We know why we’re here. We know what we need to do. Let’s do it.
Looking over my photos from 2015, I realized two things. First, I didn’t take enough pictures this past year. Thankfully I’m starting a 365 Project–one picture a day for 365 days, for 2016. Second, you just never know the whole story behind a photo…so I talk about offering grace, to ourselves and others this year.
I see you for what you really are and I will treat you as you deserve to be treated. Your motives, ideas, suggestions and ways of life are from the pit of hell. You take your orders from the Prince of Darkness with the sole intention of luring souls into anger, confusion, despair, depression, isolation, fear, and compromise. Your motto is the old familiar saying, “Misery loves company.” But, greater is He that is in me, than you who are in the world. See, I’m not playing around. I know this is a war on my family…for my family.
Dave Ramsey has a familiar way to answer the question “How are you?” He responds, “Better than I deserve.” Let me tell you a little story about throwing an internal, adult temper tantrum, and God responding as a loving Father…better than I deserve.
Those faded memories of a time and place lived well over 30 ago are now beautifully blending into our present and in death life has emerged.
This moment and my one word for the year–More, are colliding in a head on good kind of way tonight, a slow evening at home with my people.
