Our Lent Devotional for Women is still in the ‘Pre-Lent’ stages, setting a foundation, getting ourselves ready for the soul work about to take place in our devotions for Lent. Just like we wouldn’t begin a strenuous race without preparations, we shouldn’t jump into Lent either. Let’s start with dusting.
For the past four years I’ve been making decisions from a place of exhaustion and pain. I’m coming out of a hard season with loads of grace and revelations.
Everything is Grace! That phrase doesn’t mean everything is perfect or easy.It means we can have confi dence in God whether we feel it or not because everything, all of it, comes from Him or is allowed by Him for our ultimate benefit. Everything is Grace is a daily motto and battle cry.
Adding daily affirmations like, I walk in faithfulness, can help us focus on our priorities, identify lies, and protect our hearts and minds.
Right now I’m in a season of three songs in particular on repeat: Born for This by Mandisa, It is Well with My Soul by Kristene DiMarco & Bethel Music, and Even If by Mercy Me. I liked how the three of them wove together for the title of this post.
Women, living in the state of grace, are a powerful, intuitive force able to raise saints for the glory of God. Do not let anyone steal your mothering grace–it’s yours and yours alone!
