I love a good birth story but more importantly, I love it when a momma offers her prayers during labor for all the other mommas who are still laboring in the day to day of parenting.
The book that is wrecking me right now was recommended by a friend, who hasn’t even read it yet and I’m only 20 pages in and already writing a post!
Encouragement for a momma with hands full, the women who tell you it gets easier are liars. It’s all hard. But each season has its own challenges, consequences and beauty. My note to you, don’t rush through each season, find your gratitude in it.
Years ago I instituted an unusual, outside holy hour for myself. Due to finances, personality, and parenting style, I got creative for my restorative practice. The benefits weren’t for me alone! Because of my holy hour, my husband grew to be a more confident dad. Oh, you’ll love the prayer I composed!
I pray for my children on a daily basis but I wanted to pray more purposefully for them individually. In this post I share my new found visual reminder to make sure I cover each child individually in prayer throughout the day. I also share some books on praying scripture for and over our children.
Consecrating our children is simply setting them apart for and in the service God. I’ve included a lovely Consecration prayer to Jesus, Mary, and Joseph in this post.
