Our Lent Devotional for Women is still in the ‘Pre-Lent’ stages, setting a foundation, getting ourselves ready for the soul work about to take place in our devotions for Lent. Just like we wouldn’t begin a strenuous race without preparations, we shouldn’t jump into Lent either. Let’s start with dusting.

I’m reading the story of Joseph and his brothers from the Old Testament. You know, coat of many colors and all, and I’m struck by the fact they call him the ‘dreamer’ and plot to kill him. I start wondering, “who is trying to kill our dreams like Joseph’s brothers?” Some good but tough questions.
