Welcome to my weekly Daybook post here at The Littlest Way. This is a post where I gather all the ordinary things that happen or are happening in my day to day. Things like what I’m reading or listening to…eating and cleaning and learning…These are the small moments that make up my blessed daily life; and I want to remember them. I would love to read your Daybook, just leave it in the comments section below. You can use my prompts or make up your own to include items important to you; mine change depending on season and circumstance.

Praying…
I am praying for our teens and young adults. Have you looked around or read much about their generation and the enormous issues they are facing? My 3 oldest are teen girls. Have you done any reading on the number of teen boys now addicted to pornography? In addition to being so very sad, it’s scary! These are some of the very boys my daughters will be meeting and possible considering dating for marriage. I’ve had hard discussions with a couple of them lately–this type of addiction needs to be a deal breaker for them. Lord, our children are facing problems with dire consequences. Please grant them the gift of discernment in their relationships and an all-encompassing knowledge of Your love that will be their standard in how they treat others and allow themselves to be treated.
Pondering…
I’m pondering how sometimes I realize I’m getting older and I’m not quite sure how I feel about that–not that it matters. But I’m so glad I’m not younger! Teen-20’s-30’s, there were some good times, but they were also incredibly hard.
Listening to…
OK, this is so funny, or at least we think so. My sister and I both attend the Traditional Latin Mass–veils and all. Have that mental picture? Her ringtone on my phone is Cupid Shuffle and my ringtone on her phone is Me Too (Mine starts at “I thank God everyday that I woke up feeling this way…”). If you’re not laughing maybe it’s one of those things you have to be there for? Or you have to be related to us?

Bible Journaling…
Dear Catholic Bible Publishers–you are COMPLETELY missing out by not publishing a Catholic Journaling Bible. C’mon already!
Around the House…
Today I cleaned the living room ceiling fan. Everytime I do this it makes me think of my friend Heidi. When I was blogging on my old blog, she said something one time about how I seemed to do it all or something like that. I promised her I didn’t and to prove it I took a picture of my dusty ceiling fan. I told her more times than not I just turn it on so I won’t see how dusty it is. So Heidi, I prayed for you and your sweet family today while I cleaned my fan.
In the Kitchen…
I made a yummy dinner tonight. It’s basically the Tilapia Vera Cruz recipe in the Trim Healthy Mama cookbook but I chopped it all up and left out the olives–Yuck! I put it in a soft tortilla with a little cheese (so this changed it to an S meal). Even my kind of picky eaters loved it.
Our Domestic Church…
Friday is the Feast of the Most Holy Rosary and Saturday is the Feast of St. Bridget of Sweden. The whole month of October is dedicated to the Rosary, now would be a good time to start praying a family Rosary if you’re not in the habit.
Saving Money…
Chris is still demo-ing our bathroom and researching the how to’s on Youtube.

Hi Jenny!! I have been feeling a call to pray the rosary at home, I think I may start it. As a family, we lead the rosary every Sunday at 9:30 in our parish, but I think its time to bring it home!!

I would highly recommend bringing it home! It is the best thing I believe we have done as a family. My oldest now lives in Florida and I love that even though she is far from home, she knows what we are doing as a family around 9pm each night.
