Welcome to the Daybook. A weekly post here at The Littlest Way where I gather all the ordinary things that happen or are happening in my day to day. Things like what I’m reading or listening to, eating, cleaning, and learning. These are the small moments that make up my blessed daily life and I want to remember them. My prompts may change depending on season and circumstance.

::the girls and I going with Anna to get a second piercing (a birthday gift from Veronica)
::Chris making me laugh
::Leo telling me randomly he loves me
Do you pray for your children’s future spouse? I am so hit and miss on this and really, really need to be completely hit on it. Share your prayers with me please.

The washing machine–of course and as usual, Chris and the boys wrestling, Maximilian cleaning up the kitchen, Leo singing something and the song “Loved” by JJ Jeller

Around the House…
Chris needs to check our fireplace out for the season and containers of winter clothes are sitting in my living room waiting to be sorted. We probably need to do one last mow for the season. All of this on top of the usual home stuff.
In the Kitchen…
Chris grilled some steaks from our first homegrown steer. He said they were good. I have a big pot of Frito Chili Pie in the fridge. On the 31st, we’ll have S’mores around our little firepit.
We’re getting our end of the year appointments lined up: my yearly, my dermotologist and all of our eye doctor visits scheduled. Time to switch out some diffuser scents to match the weather. (You can read here why I purchase my essential oils from Amazon instead of a distributor.)

In a recent email to subscribers of The Littlest Way, I shared some posts detailing my struggle with obsessive thoughts. (Temporary link in my profile to the most recent and most vulnerable post on the topic). I also asked how I could pray for them and am so very honored they are trusting me with their prayers. I don't need to tell y'all how hard life can be 'cause Lord, some of y'all are in the midst of a full on attack. Please know, I'm making a list and checking it twice as I set up my new prayer binder. Just a reminder, where 2 or 3 are gathered, Jesus is in our midst and greater is He than he who is in the world. Do not let the enemy whisper doubt and confusion to you. Don't rely on your feelings of strength or victory. You've Got This! You can do anything for one more day and today is that one more. Tomorrow we'll remind ourselves again, we can do anything for one more day or in the words of St. Therese the Little Flower, "Nothing except for today." I'm cheering and praying for you❤ #nowisnow #nowisgood #itsabeautifullife #joyfilledlife #itsagreatday #prayer #saints #prayforus #saintsquotes #catholic #christian #choosejoy #childofGod #encouragement #myviewrightnow #justfortoday #staystrong #warbinder #prayerjournal #carpediemplanner #simplestories #illustratedfaith #DaySpring #creativeplanning #faithplanner #carpediem
