Welcome to the Daybook. A weekly post here at The Littlest Way where I gather all the ordinary things that happen or are happening in my day to day. Things like what I’m reading or listening to, eating, cleaning, and learning. These are the small moments that make up my blessed daily life and I want to remember them. My prompts may change depending on season and circumstance.
*Have you checked out the, Bible Journaling Tips, Inspiration and Permission book, to encourage and inspire you in your Bible journaling!

Praying…
I finished putting together my prayer journal companion. My prayer life right now is stagnant and I need to change things up. Here’s the prayer journal I’m using.
Pondering…
The importance of spiritual writing. “Who can list the glorious miracles of the Lord?” (Psalm 106:2) and a follow-up in verse 7, “…they soon forgot his many acts of kindness to them.” These verses encouraged me to include “Praying for” and “Answered” in the prayer journal. I don’t want it said of me, “She soon forgot God’s many acts of kindness to her.”
Listening to…
The wind is howling! I’m also listening to a playlist I put together on Spotify in November. I need to put one together for December.

Bible Journaling…
The Catholic Journaling Bible is available for pre-order on Amazon right now. I’d grab one now and lock it in at the pre-order price.
Happy Planner Girl
Someone asked the other day what planner I’m using. Right now I am happily using the Carpe Diem Bloom Personal size planner. I feel like it’s a little wider than a typical personal size? Maybe that’s just me? But it’s not as big as a A5.
Around the House…
Monday’s are a challenge when I’ve been out of town all weekend.
In the Kitchen…
I need to grocery shop, I mean order online! I had to run into the store the other day and spent more money than I planned because I remembered this, that, the other…and grabbed this while I was in the store. I save so much money (and time) using the online shopping!
Self Care
Anna made up a couple of roller bottles, one for our Texas trip. It was a Lavender, Peppermint, Lemon mix. The Lavender especially is helpful for Veronica after hard games where she comes off the field tired, bruised, and sore. And these games this weekend did exactly that. I can’t remember such physical games (and one team was pretty dirty) in a while. (You can read here why I purchase my essential oils from Amazon instead of a distributor. And if you’re not an Amazon Prime {Try Amazon Prime 30-Day Free Trial} member with FREE shipping, Edens Garden offer FREE shipping in the US.)

Our Domestic Church…
Advent has started! And December has some beautiful Feast Days to celebrate. December 6th is the Feast of St. Nicholas. We have our stockings hung by this day. On the night of the 5th, the kids write their Christmas letters to St. Nicholas telling him what they are giving up for Advent–it’s like a mini-Lent, what they would like for Christmas, and telling him what they are thankful for. Their letters go in their stockings and the next morning the letters have been replaced with gold candy coins. Friday December 8th is a Holy Day of Obligation–the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, and Sunday will be the Second Sunday of Advent.
Saving Money…
I’ve been trying to use Ebates for all my Christmas shopping. Every little bit helps! Here’s my referral link. If you’re new to Ebates, when you sign up, you’ll get $10.

One of the things I like about Walmart Grocery is when they have a substitute that is more expensive and they give you the price of your original order. I recently got 70′ of Reynolds non-stick foil for the price of the 35′! It was a toss between feeling like I’d won the lottery and oddly like I was getting away with something. But alas, it was honest and certainly appreciated. Oh and, love the socks. 😉

Haha! The socks…when you share socks with 3 teen/preteen girls who could care less if their socks match, this is what you end up with! And speaking of socks, did you see the socks I want! I posted them on my Facebook page asking who wanted to knit them for me and Angela Pea is going to! Veronica is appalled!!! https://www.facebook.com/thelittlestway/posts/1989713271312165

Angela Pea! Wow, you are blessed indeed. And if by chance she reads this, I want her to know that she is often times on my heart and in my prayers!
