Welcome to the Daybook Journal. A weekly post here at The Littlest Way where I gather all the ordinary things that happen or are happening in my day to day. Things like what I’m reading or listening to, eating, cleaning, and learning. These are the small moments that make up my blessed daily life and I want to remember them. My prompts may change depending on season and circumstance.
* I’ve written an ebook to guide you through the whys and hows to get started with Bible Journaling, Bible Journaling Tips, Inspiration and Permission, and to encourage and inspire you in your Bible journaling!
Thanking God for…
::sitting on the back porch reading my Bible
::letting the boys wash the cars in the yard
::Chris taking me to the car wash to use the spot free rinse because the hose spots bother me
::getting back on the treadmill after weeks off thinking I had broken my toe
::getting my new tennis shoes (sneakers? what do you call them?) as a reward for sticking with my workouts consistently
::fresh mowed farm
Praying…
I have a couple of really big prayers going on right now, like standing guard against the prowling enemy prayers. Like, “Get behind me or I’ll throat punch you” prayers. So you know, the usual momma prayers, lol!
Pondering…
“To be clear, I’m not praying to Mary. I’m asking Mary to pray for me. Just as I might text a friend and beg for prayers in the moment, I know that in the great cloud of witnesses that surrounds me, Mary stands radiant.”

Listening to…
It’s late Monday night now. I have the window open and hear some night bug noises, the dryer is running the last load for the day–not the last load period, a couple of kids are eating cereal and milk for a night-night snack and Anna is walking in and out asking me questions.

Bible Journaling…
Not exactly Bible Journaling but close. The last few days I’ve been live over on my Instagram feed talking about my Bible reading for the day. I would love to have you join us!
Around the House…
I am so uninspired.
In the Kitchen…
Chris normally grills burgers on Sunday evenings. The last two weeks I’ve asked him to grill a couple extra and a couple pieces of chicken for me to eat during the week. I do not eat enough protein. And since I follow the Trim Healthy Mama eating plan (kind of) I should be eating way more E meals than I do. I’m remedying those issues this week!

Self Care
I started slowly back into working out in the last few days. I’ve had to stay off the treadmill for a few weeks because I thought I broke my big toe or at least hyperextended it. I started back on it this weekend and it felt so good! I also hurt a muscle in my upper back a week and half ago so I haven’t been lifting my dumbbells. I think my muscle is healed so I lifted a little today and it felt so good too! So good in fact I had Chris help me get an old barbell down from the attic, we’re talking like almost 30 years old. I have no idea about exercise and things so I was going to get the weights too before Chris stopped me. He told me to life the bar alone for a while first because it’s probably 30-40 pounds.

The Littlest Way
This post my top post every single week, every single month. So with that, tell me what Bible Journaling printables you would like to see. I can design them separately or in groups. What printables will help you in your Bible reading and jounaling?
Our Domestic Church…
We’re almost near the ned of May, the month traditionally set aside to honor Mary. June is the month set aside to honor the Sacred Heart of Jesus, which is one of my favorite devotions!
Saving Money…
I am a total broken record here. Every time I step foot in the grocery store, I spend more money than I intend. Every time I use Walmart Online Grocery Pickup and Aldis, I spend less money than I intend.

What church were you married in? Lovely wedding couple! That’s more what you two looked like when we first met!
Jenny says
Sts Peter and Paul. This was before they moved the big crucifix back and added the red carpet.

Jenny, I can’t even lift the bar! Anthony is in the 4-500 range currently (I think???) People who can even lift the bar are inspiring to me! 😀
Jenny says
I think he’s lifting more than that! I saw an Instagram post of him lifting.
