Welcome to my weekly Daybook post here at The Littlest Way. This is a post where I gather all the ordinary things that happen or are happening in my day to day. Things like what I’m reading or listening to…eating and cleaning and learning…These are the small moments that make up my blessed daily life and I want to remember them. I would love to read your Daybook, just leave it in the comments section below. You can use my prompts or make up your own to include items important to you; mine change depending on season and circumstance.

Praying…
I’m praying for this site, this community. I want to do and give and be the best I can–the best I’ve been called to. Our family also needs some financial wiggle room and this site, which does cover our internet and computer costs has the potential to do more. By more I mean it now has the potential to reach more people and I can offer more sources of encouragement and joy in living our faith. And doing those things has the potential to earn some income. I’m praying about all that stuff.
I will tell you, one of the easiest ways I earn income from The Littlest Way is when y’all click a link to Amazon and make a purchase–even if you don’t purchase the specific item I linked to. Will you please keep that mind as you start or finish up your Christmas shopping? Here’s a link to Amazon. If you’re getting ready to shop, head over here first and click a link that takes you to Amazon and shop away ok. Chris and I appreciate it–every little bit helps.
Pondering…
I’m pondering the world my children will grow up in and are growing up in. Y’all, Leo is 4, he will never know any different.

Bible Journaling…
I really need to get back in the practice of Bible Journaling. It is so good for my mind and soul. I just ordered some goodies from Illustrated Faith. Although not Catholic, I love their stickers, stamps and washi tape. You can use the coupon code IFSHIPSFREE to get free shipping on any Illustrated Faith purchase. When I get mine in I’ll let you know what I think. And hey, Catholic Bible publishers, please? You have no idea the market that is waiting for you!
Around the House…
This week I am trying something new. Each day on my weekly calendar I have marked a specific room of our home to spend some extra time cleaning. That’s it. That’s my new thing to try and hopefully it works. Oh and Chris has our shower completely demolished. Now it sits. We need time to talk to people to see what can be done and for how much. Time and money y’all…time and money.
In the Kitchen…
I need to grocery shop today. I imagine Tacos will be on the menu, Chris always asks for them. I bought some sausage at Sams the other day with the intention of making a meatloaf. The rest I will need to figure out.
Our Domestic Church…
Today is the Feast of St. Margaret Mary Alacoque. She is the saint of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Celebrate by eating something heart shaped or making something heart shaped. Y’all, celebrating the Liturgical year does not have to be fancy and detailed. Tuesday is the Feast of St. Luke. He was known as an artist and my friend Kathryn at Team Whitaker just threw an art themed party for one of her sweet daughters. Look through her post and I bet you’ll find some great ideas to celebrate St. Luke’s feast day–“paint chips” anyone? See how easy that can be? Oh, and here’s an interesting fact, “Around this feast is known as “St. Luke’s Little Summer,” a period of summer-like days that occur around October 18 named to honor the saint’s feast day. It’s similar to the the term “Indian Summer,” which officially occurs between November 11-20). St. Luke gives us some golden days before the cold of winter.”
Saving Money…
I’m trying to make a little money to save and save what we make. Give me your best money saving tip in the comments.
Captured…
I got new Crocs. They’re Camo. I love them. My family doesn’t. I said I would only wear them around the house. So far I’ve worn them to a soccer game…and then we stopped by Sams for groceries. I seriously wear Crocs/Kadee flip flops year round. I used to be a Birkenstock girl, not anymore. These are more comfortable, I can toss them in the shower if they get dirty and they are sooo much cheaper!

Hi Jenny, can you put the link to Amazon somewhere on your page so that its available there? It would be super easy to remember to click it if we see it.
Hope you are doing wonderful!!!
Jenny says
Hey Claudia! Thank you for the suggestion! I will probably add a menu item that says “affiliates” or something like that. I’ll let you know.

Wow! I didn’t know that if we follow one of your Amazon links it gives you something on other items as well. I will definitely do that with future purchases. Thanks for all you do.
Jenny says
I know! And let me assure you, I don’t know who purchases what or what is being purchased, so shop with no fear, lol!
