Welcome to How to Live the Little Way. A weekly post here at The Littlest Way where I gather all the ordinary things that happen or are happening in my day to day. Things like what I’m reading or listening to, eating, cleaning, and learning. These are the small moments that make up my blessed daily life and I want to remember them. My prompts may change depending on season and circumstance.
Thanking God for…
::much needed rain
::a date night of Torchy’s Tacos, Adoration, and Hobby Lobby with Anna
::venison in the freezer
::Leo being asleep when the storm blew through the other night–wind bothers him
::starting our Advent Devotional
::focusing on the Virtue of Patience this Advent in our Online Bible Study Community
::a faithful online community who prays for and encourages each other
::dark chocolate
::a woman messaging me this morning about the incredible results she’s having with essential oils. Y’all, when a sweet woman tells you the oils she’s using are offering her support with a chronic breathing issue and helping alleviate the side effects of a powerful medication, well, you start the day in tears!
Praying…
As usual, my St. Andrew Novena is long and specific, just the way I like it, haha!
Pondering…
“You were designed by God for greatness. You are here for a specific purpose.”
–Oola for Women: How to Balance the 7 Key Areas of Life to Have Less Stress, More Purpose, and Reveal the Greatness within You
Listening to…
Nothing. I’m a little noised out right now. Anyone else?
Reading…

Happy Planner Girl…
Remember my recent post about using a Dayspring Planner? Well, they are all on sale today only! Friends, these are lovely planners. I’ve been using mine as a prayer planner lately. They are 50% off today. And check out their pocket inserts and sticky notes inserts.
Around the House…
After a week of Chris and the kids in and out from hunting and camping, my laundry room looks like it exploded! My main goal today is to get it all washed and dried. I’ll worry about folding it later…famous last words!
The tree is up and strung with white lights! We put our tree up the First Sunday of Advent and decorate it the Third Sunday of Advent…unless we decide to decorate it as soon as Veronica gets home from college!
In the Kitchen…
Tonight we’re having spaghetti. And then I need a few staples from the grocery store to figure out the rest of the week. Any Trim Healthy Mamas out there? I need some breakfast and lunch ideas. I used to have a shake every morning, but they may be hurting my side. I LOVE the convenience of just throwing something in the blender and drinking it while I read my Bible. Help me out!

Self Care
Dr. Edie Wadsworth is teaching her last Facebook essential oils class of the year tomorrow, December 4, 2018, at NOON Eastern Time. It’s titled, “If Mama Ain’t Happy—4 Sure-Fire Ways to Reduce Your Stress, Boost Your Mood in 30 Days so you can actually Enjoy this Season!” Click here to get your cheatsheet and register for the class. Her essential oil classes are always so much fun and packed with tons of information.
(I used to purchase my essential oils from Amazon or Edens Garden instead of a distributor. You can read my thoughts on why here, “Where I’m From…” I’ve since decided I don’t have the time or resources to properly educate myself on using the oils to their fullest potential. That’s why I signed up with Young Living under a former Family Practice Physician.)

Saving Money…
Checking out books from the library…in theory. But then you add in the late charges and I’m not so sure?
