Welcome to my weekly Daybook post here at The Littlest Way. This is a post where I gather all the ordinary things that happen or are happening in my day to day. Things like what I’m reading or listening to…eating and cleaning and learning. These are the small moments that make up my blessed daily life and I want to remember them. I would love to read your Daybook, just leave it in the comments section below. You can use my prompts or make up your own to include items important to you; mine change depending on season and circumstance.

For Chris
Pondering…
I’m writing a post on the vow of stability Benedictine monks take. This world y’all…and I’m pondering the effects of taking our own vow of stability would have.
Listening to…
Right now the kettle is whistling; Anna and Luke are making some tea. As far as music, I’ve been listening to one of Chris’ favorite songs, What a Wonderful World. If you’re an Amazon Prime member, you can add this to your music library for free. Try Amazon Prime 30-Day Free Trial

Around the House…
I feel like I may be making some decluttering progress–slow and steady, but progress none the less.
In the Kitchen…
Can I sing the praises of Ibotta enough?! Apparently not since so many of you have contacted me telling me how much you love it! I completely agree with you all, this is the easiest way to save some money on groceries.
Diffusing
Most of my children are stuffy, congested and coughing right now. I’m diffusing Fighting Five by day and then Lavender and Anxiety Ease at night to help everyone sleep. You can read here why I chose to use Essential Oils from Amazon.
A Great Blog Post
A God Who Works Miraculous Conversions “So if you’ve got someone in your life who seems incapable of conversion, don’t despair! We come from a heritage of heinous sinners made great Saints by the miracle-working mercy of the Father. It can be discouraging to pray for someone year after year and see no change, but the testimony of the Saints is that God can answer those prayers in his time.”
The Littlest Way
I’m going back to posting 3x a week with a monthly or twice monthly newsletter. That’s the plan anyway. I still need to catch up on last months 31 Days of Patience Bible Verses.

Saving Money…
Budget…Budget…Budget–preaching to myself y’all. We are not ever going to get where we want to be without a budget. My friend Jessi has some great information about budgeting--I mean ‘real life’ budgeting. I need to re-read some of these so Chris and I can get a plan in place.
Captured…
Nothing says “I’m cool” like having your picture taken with a life-size fake beaver.
